This picture is a tribute to the memory of my boy “Luke” A/C Ch Longacres Blue Ridge Walker, TT, CGC, showing the four generations that followed is his pawprints. From left to right is, his daughter “Lenah” A/C Ch Bear Mts Sierra High Country, JH, TT, CGC, TDI at 16 years old (still with us as we type this), Lenah's great granddaughter “LucyLu” Bear Mt Sierra High Definition at 10 months old, Lenah's granddaughter “LuLu” Ch Bear Mtn Sierra Hi-Resolution, JH at 6 years old, and Lenah's daughter “Glamor” A/C Ch Bear Mt Sierra Hi-Fashion at 11 years old. Not only did my Luke give me so much joy for 14 ½ years being my buddy, showdog, personal gundog, and bed hog, I consider myself so darn lucky to have the opportunity to have, after his passing, four living generations. The clock was ticking and I had the dream of getting this view on film. The person who helped me permanently preserve this wonderful opportunity is our very own club photographer and friend, Tal Allen. His patience, skill and knowledge turned four wiggling, happy, running “every which way but loose” GSP's into a picture to cherish forever. This is only one of the many beautiful moments he captured on film for me that day, as well as at many of our events. I urge everyone to take the same opportunity in using Tal's “Gift” to preserve those moments with your furkids, that you also will always cherish. You will be glad you did. I wish Tal were around many years ago to take snapshots, but now won't miss the opportunity to do it again and again. Thank You Tal!!! (I must also thank the kennels and stud dogs who also helped in making these four furkids possible……….Coach Roads for Lenah's mom, Ch Longacres Centurion – Glamors dad, 2x Nat'l SS Ch Prairiestars Maverick – Lulu's dad and Ch Richtofens Mark of Weinland – LucyLu's dad. ) Tal's next group in spring………..Champion Kerry (Luke daughter) with her kids that are either show pointed and/or going to be hunt titled. Freeze, Flash, Image, Boomer, Spencer, Ivy, Abby and Daisy. Okay Tal, lets get them all in one picture (LOL). He will do it, I know he will……………….He has the patience of a saint! Deb Broad |
