Jessie qualified for her CD title in 3 straight trials with 3 - 2nd Place Ribbons.
She showed at the outdoor trials 2 days at the Mid-Coast KC in Waldoboro, ME and 1 day at the Carroll CKC in Conway, NH.

From Peg & Lou Gagnon - On Sunday, September 12 at the Mayflower GSPC Hunt Test at Crane WMA in Falmouth, MA, Coach Roads Jewell Rules, JH earned the final leg towards her Senior Hunter title. "Jewell" is by Abbagadasset Marcus Isaiah JH and Coach Roads About Time Molly, MH.

On Sunday, September 19, at the Northern N.E. Brittany Club Hunt Test at Sharp's Farm in Hopkinton, NH, Coach Roads Makin' Mayhem earned the third leg towards her Junior Hunter title. "Mae" is by Ch Olde Ridge Pride 'n Joy JH and Coach Roads About Time Molly, MH.

From Deb Broad - To back up just a bit...last year brought us a few more titles. Our solid liver Ch. Bear Mt Blue Ridge Paradox finished her US championship and is near finished in Canada. She is out of our solid liver foundation dog A/C Ch Longacres Blue Ridge Walker, TT, CGC "Luke" (1987 - 2001). She was bred to Luke's frozen semen 2 years ago and produced the "Fudgsicle Puppies" (means frozen and solid liver), who will be making their debut shortly. (yes, I kept several since I can never seem to part with puppies). She was also bred to Ch Wildapple Griffin, JH this year and produced another lovely litter that are in show/competition homes waiting to mature. (yes, I kept more puppies and yes, my house is full, ha ha). Thanks to Jeremy and Sandy for giving us the opportunity to use their lovely boy.

Luke daughter "Lenah" A/C Ch Bear Mts Sierra High Country, JH, TT, CGC, TDI finished her Therapy Dog qualifications at 12 ½ years old. She just couldn't let her son have a title she didn't have. She will be 14 in a few months and I am sure that she has something else up her tweed sleeves. Our Luke granddaughter (Lenah's daughter) "Glamor" A/C Ch Bear Mt Sierra Hi-Fashion, finished her Canadian title undefeated (except for Kerry) in three weekends. She also, to my surprise, and is not news at this point, was Club Intermediate Champion at our event this year. We both have been away from the field for such a long time that I had no idea what she would do at 8 ½ years old. Many thanks to Lou and Peg for renewing our confidence and giving me the plug to try it all out again and to all the members that kept us going along the way. We have to keep going now, we had such a great time.

Our co-owned Luke daughter (kerry's sister), Bear Mtn Blue Ridge Replica AX AXJ NJC JS-N CGC ("Roxi") has been busy with Agility. In very limited events last year she finished most of the titles listed and was shown as #8 on the GSPCA agility standings list with several top placements. Coming back out, On August 16, 2004 "Roxi" earned her first Excellent B double "Q" with clean fast runs in both Standard and Jumpers with Weaves.. Roxi's fast times earner her a fourth place in the Jumpers with Weaves class. These qualifying runs earned Roxi her second MX leg and her fourth MXJ leg. During the hottest weekend of the summer, August 28-30, 2004, ("Roxi") showed that she likes the heat! She earned two MXJ legs and one MX leg, giving her a total of three MX legs and six MXJ legs. Again, she ran fast--16 seconds under the course time in the standard qualifying run. . "Roxi" is owned by myself, Jeff and Erica Gross and handled by Jeff Gross. And does he do a marvelous job! I could never do it! They also recently took my Bear Mt Midnight Blu's (Luke daughter) to train in agility. They put a CGC title on her right away and are having fun with her training too.

Luke great granddaughter (glamor's daughter out of 2xNSS Ch Prairie Stars Maverick) Bear Mtn Sierra Hi-Resolution "Lulu" , got her back to back majors, then into a Best of Breed from the classes at a Maine show this spring and another win in Conway. She is close to finishing. Now, the trick is, "I" need more training, strength and time to get the rest done, the dogs are always willing. thank goodness for this wonderful breed!!!

Oops, guess I jumped the gun.....recent winner....(liver Luke daughter and sister to Kerry, Harley and Roxy), Bear Mtn Blueridg's Mystique " Minka" took winners bitch at the Lewiston Auburn Kennel Club show, handled by good friend Marion Gray. This was only their second time together in the ring.

Raffle Donations
Yes, it's that time of year again - no, not hunting season, silly, "raffle" season! Pauline Marcq is soliciting donations for the annual Boston Specialty Show raffle to benefit the KGSPC coffers. Any item you have laying around (mineral only, no animal or vegetable) or can steal someplace (the mall?) would be greatly appreciated Bail, if necessary, is guaranteed by the KGSPC president Tom Dwyer. Pauline will make arrangements to pick up your item if you cannot attend the show. Contact her at SPMARCQ@AOL.com

Hunt Test
A copy of the premium is attached, and you can download more at our website. Has Tom ever mentioned that we have a website??? I am still recruiting help for marshalling, bird planting, and all-around "what do you need me to do" kind of help. Sorry, the dancing girl slots are filled. Also could use a gunner for Saturday, if anyone's interested. Please contact Steve Marcq.

 Next Meeting
Is at Alison Jones's home, in Candia NH at 6:30 pm Sunday November 7th. Note the time change, and that it is not potluck this time around. We just love to try new things! All are welcome, and if you don't come, the next meeting will probably be at your house, so watch out!!!
