GSP needs help and a foster family immediately!!

Hi Everyone,  I was contacted today by my NY counterpart, Katie Muller, and asked for help with Buddy since they don't have a foster home available.  Buddy is a 4 yr old boy who was taken from his owner due to abuse and neglect.  He was found with his muzzle taped together with electrical tape and he is very thin and has some raw spots on his body.  We don't know if Buddy was ever allowed to live inside.  This savvy ACO is going forward with charges against Buddy's owner. Buddy is now with the Animal Control Officer in the town he was picked up.  He is being sheltered with two other dogs and seems to get along with them with no issues.  Katie will be taking Buddy into foster next weekend and will get him brought up to date, neutered, etc. but cannot keep him as a foster. I agreed to look for a foster home here in NE so Buddy can finally start living the life he deserves.  If you have been considering fostering a dog in the past but hesitated for whatever reason maybe you may want to consider it now. It is a good time to step up to the plate for a dog who really needs some TLC before going to his forever home.  We will support you through the foster period with all medical expenses and training if necessary.  Foster homes supply food and just as important love and kindness.  Buddy seems to be non aggressive. Buddy's nose from electrical tape If you feel like you have room in your home at this time for Buddy or would like to discuss fostering please contact me and either Jami or I will get back to you.

Thank you in advance for any help you can offer!
